Solid fabric with a matte look and a fine, pleasant surface, built on an elastic and stable base. The blend of 45% modal, 49% polyester, and 6% spandex makes it both soft and “body-hugging” (modal provides comfort and that velvety feel), but also durable and easy to maintain (polyester holds color and shape well). Elastane adds true elasticity, so the fabric returns nicely after stretching and does not “bag out” over time.

With a weight of 440 g/linear meter, it is a substantial fabric/knit with very good coverage and a more controlled drape. It is suitable for garments that require structure but also freedom of movement: bodycon dresses or those with a clean cut, straight skirts, tapered trousers, loose cardigan-style blazers, suits, or minimalist pieces where how the fabric “sits” on the body is very important. The dark shade in the image makes it very easy to integrate into classic combinations, both with neutral tones and with color accents.
