PLEATED VELVET
Description
Pleated velvet with a rich sheen and embossed texture, made from 100% polyester. It has that specific effect of vertical “waves” (plissé), which catches the light differently with each movement and gives the material an elegant, spectacular feel, without needing many embellishments in the cut. The surface is soft and pleasant to the touch, and the relief also helps to conceal slight wrinkles.
With a weight of 525 g/linear meter, it is a substantial material with a beautiful weight and drape, suitable for pieces that require presence and volume. It drapes well and looks great in simple cuts or drapes, where the velvet texture remains the focus.
