Description
Thick material, with a wool-like appearance and a slightly fluffy surface, with a soft touch and a “melton”/felted look. It has a firm structure and a controlled drape, which makes it very suitable for garments that need to maintain their shape (lapels, shoulders, structured cuts). The discreetly “velvety” texture gives it an elegant and clean, non-shiny look.
With a weight of 620 g/linear meter, it is a heavy, dense, and warm material, excellent for the cold season. It works well for coats, jackets, capes, thick blazers, winter skirts, or details such as collars and cuffs. I recommend stabilizing tension areas (collar, lapels, pockets) with appropriate interfacing and carefully finishing the edges to ensure they remain impeccable over time.
